POPUP Shop Design
The challenge in designing a pop up shop is the need to create one space to house many different functions.
The design needed to be able to suit stores selling clothing, shoes, accessories, bags, glasses and jewelry, in any combination.
The concept is
a "hanging" shop- anything may be displayed and everything essentially hangs from the ceiling. The centerpiece of the store is the changing room, which functions as storage, shelves, racks or whatever is necessary. Three metal frames are set up to contain customizable display areas.
The store is named "Zik-It", which in Hebrew means "chameleon", a name I found to be most aligned with the store's function.
Frosted vinyl stickers on the wall accompany the walk through the hallway, and create a soundwave shape. A functional piece, turned decorative.
